Eduardo Vega, P.E.
Director, Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers
Mr. Vega was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States at the age of 28 years old. He presently works in A&P Consultants Transportation Engineers (APCTE). He is responsible for business development, design-build and special projects.
Prior to joining APCTE, Mr. Vega had a 35-year career with Miami-Dade County, where he served as DERM’s Chief of Plan Review, DTPW’s Assistant Director for Construction Management and Road & Bridges, Chief of the FEMA Roadway Restoration Program and in the last ten years of his county career as MDWASD’s Assistant Director for Engineering and Capital Improvements. Earlier in his US career, Mr. Vega worked for the former BHA Engineering Consultants.
Mr. Vega is a registered professional engineer in Florida. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Construction Management. Mr. Vega has served over ten years as a Board Director for the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (C-AACE).
