In addition to her work in the public and private sectors, Mariana recently founded her own firm, Delta Consultants LLC, which provides engineering design, project management, and construction management services to both municipal and private clients.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Mariana moved to the United States in 2007 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University, graduating with honors. She has been an active member of the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE) since her college days, where she has shown a strong commitment to the organization. Mariana currently serves as President of CAACE and has previously held the position of Vice President and Secretary.
