Eduardo Vega, P.E.

Director

Eduardo Vega, P.E. was born in Cuba and emigrated to the United States at the age of 28. He currently works with A&P Consultants Transportation Engineers (APCTE), where he is responsible for business development, design-build, and special projects.

Prior to joining APCTE, Mr. Vega had a distinguished 35-year career with Miami-Dade County, serving in several senior engineering and management roles.

During his County career, he served as Chief of Plan Review for the Department of Environmental Resources Management (DERM), Assistant Director for Construction Management and Roads & Bridges for the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW), and Chief of the FEMA Roadway Restoration Program.

During the final ten years of his Miami-Dade County career, Mr. Vega served as Assistant Director for Engineering and Capital Improvements at the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD).

Earlier in his professional career in the United States, Mr. Vega worked for the former BHA Engineering Consultants.

Mr. Vega is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's degree in Construction Management.

In addition to his professional career, Mr. Vega has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE), having served for more than ten years as a member of the organization's Board of Directors.
