Mariana Evora, P.E.

Mariana Evora, P.E. is a professional Civil Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in the civil engineering and construction industry, specializing in water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.

Throughout her career, Ms. Evora has developed extensive expertise in the design, permitting, procurement, and construction of major public infrastructure projects, including pump stations, force mains, and stormwater collection systems.

Until early 2023, Mariana served as Assistant Director of Operations and Infrastructure for the City of Miami Beach, where she led high-priority and complex infrastructure projects from conception through completion.

In that role, she oversaw a $125 million water and sewer infrastructure improvement plan, which included the citywide implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).

She was also responsible for managing the City's water, wastewater, stormwater, streets, and streetlight operations, providing leadership across a broad range of critical municipal infrastructure services.

Prior to joining the City of Miami Beach, Mariana worked as an Assistant Project Engineer with a contractor on multiple design-build stormwater projects.

She later joined Ardurra, formerly King Engineering Associates, Inc., where she managed water and wastewater projects for the Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department.

During her time at Ardurra, she led several pump station improvement programs as well as the consumer line relocation program, gaining significant experience in project management, design coordination, and construction implementation.

In addition to her work in both the public and private sectors, Mariana founded Delta Consultants LLC, an engineering firm providing engineering design, project management, and construction management services to municipal and private-sector clients.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Mariana moved to the United States in 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University, graduating with honors.

Mariana has been actively involved with the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE) since her college years and has maintained a strong commitment to the organization's mission and professional community.

She currently serves as President of CAACE and has previously held leadership positions within the Association including Vice President and Secretary.
