Pedro P. Giralt, P.E.
Director
Pedro P. Giralt, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Miami. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
Mr. Giralt is President of Giralt Enterprises, Inc., a company with more than three decades of experience specializing in the supply and design of seawalls, docks, and handrails.
He is a Board Member and Past President of the Cuban American Association of Civil Engineers (CAACE). He has also served as Past President of the South Florida Chapter of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals.
Mr. Giralt is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the Florida Engineering Society (FES).
In addition to his professional and organizational leadership, Mr. Giralt holds a patent on a picket handrail design. The product received the statewide 2006 Florida Engineering Society New Product Award and the national 2007 National Society of Professional Engineers New Product Award in the small business category.
